Job description

Overview

Our client, a leading independent specialist in the design, installation, service, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems, is seeking an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer. The role covers customers along the M1 and M62 corridor and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of a variety of commercial refrigeration systems (e.g. cold rooms, display cabinets, walk-in fridges/freezers).
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Complete all required documentation and maintain accurate service records.
• Participate in an on-call rota (approx. 1 week in 12).
• Provide excellent customer service on client sites.

Requirements

• City & Guilds 2079 (F-Gas & ODS) or CITB equivalent (essential).
• Proven experience working with commercial refrigeration systems (supermarkets, retail, hospitality, etc.).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.

Desirable

• Experience with CO2 or Hydrocarbons systems.
• Additional refrigeration/air-conditioning qualifications.
