Qualifications

• Experience managing a varied conveyancing caseload is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mixed caseload of Freeholds and Leaseholds as a Commercial Property Solicitor.
• Handle all aspects of conveyancing from instruction to completion.
• Draft legal documents including contract packs and title reports.

Skills

Commercial Property Solicitor – Macclesfield / Congleton (Hybrid working) – Up to £50,000 DOE plus bonuses

This position is for an award-winning, professional team of conveyancing, solicitor lawyers, and legal experts. They have been leading solicitors across Cheshire and are now looking to add an experienced conveyancer to their 120-strong legal team.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing a mixed caseload of Freeholds and Leaseholds as a Commercial Property Solicitor
• Handling all aspects of conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, registration, and closure of files
• Drafting legal documents including Precedent Letters, Contract Packs, Title Reports, Exchange and Completion letters, and forms for Land Registry and HMRC
• Applying for searches including Land Registry and Pre-Completion
• Completing SDLT forms
• Dealing with company sales and purchases; some commercial experience is advantageous
• Managing shared ownership sales and purchases, new builds, transfer of equity, adverse possession, transfer of part, and remortgages independently
