Job description
Overview

We're looking for a Commercial Project Manager to play a key role in driving the successful launch of Norton Motorcycles' new products across global markets. You'll be responsible for coordinating activities across the Commercial team - covering sales, marketing, customer experience, aftersales/service, alternative revenue, and network development - ensuring that all commercial activities align under one coherent plan. Your main focus will be to own, maintain, and evolve our Commercial Operating Plan - the blueprint that ensures every product launch is delivered on time, on budget, and to world-class standards. This role is highly collaborative, fast‑paced, and central to our commercial success. This position is based in our London Commercial Hub, where you'll work closely with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders to bring our iconic brand to riders around the world.

We're not just another bike brand - we're an iconic, British motorcycle brand with over 120 years of history behind us. Our new state‑of‑the‑art facilities in Solihull, West Midlands are home to a tight‑knit, but ever‑expanding team that's passionate about delivering exquisite riding experiences to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the activities of the Commercial team to ensure alignment across functions.
  • Build strong working relationships with each functional leader to understand their priorities, challenges, and interdependencies.
  • Facilitate strategic discussions to identify blockers to plan delivery and work collaboratively to find actionable solutions.
  • Proactively look for gaps or future risks in the operating plan and elevate key issues with recommended mitigations.
  • Lead the development of more detailed functional‑level and market‑specific plans.
  • Map out risks, critical paths, and dependencies across functional and market plans.
  • Track and report progress of operating plan activities, providing clear insight to senior leadership on status, risks, and areas requiring intervention.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Business Planning, Business Analysis, or Commercial Development roles.
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior leaders and influencing cross‑functional decision‑making.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to build credibility and trust across all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem‑solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • A curious mindset, unafraid to challenge the status‑quo.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to balance strategic priorities with operational detail.
  • Financial and business acumen, with a strong consumer‑oriented perspective.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in a mobility, automotive, or premium consumer brand environment, with exposure to multi‑market operations.
  • Experience supporting or managing go‑to‑market readiness projects across functions.
  • Familiarity with commercial reporting dashboards or data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience working with premium retail brands, with an appreciation for craftsmanship and innovation.
  • Skilled in the use of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
Benefits
  • Competitive salary package that recognises your skills and experience.
  • 33 days of holiday (including bank holidays) to relax and recharge.
  • Generous pension scheme that sets you up for the future, with access to personalised advice.
  • Private medical insurance and a cash‑back programme to keep you feeling your best.
  • Life insurance (4x salary) because we’ve got your back no matter what.
  • Free fruit – we’ve got your five‑a‑day!
  • WeCare Employee Assistance Programme, which includes access to online GP services, dietary advice, mental health support, bereavement counselling, and a fitness programme.
  • Two‑yearly employee events, payday socials, and loads of exciting activities in between.
  • Free electric bicycle hire and free electric charge points.
  • On‑site free parking covered.
  • Commitment to continually improving our reward offering in line with the business growth plan.
