Overview

Commercially supporting the Veolia Energy & Water Southern Business Unit. Overall responsibility for the commercial control of a number of contracts, bids, letters and processes.

Responsibilities
  • Identifying risks, liabilities and commitments within contractual agreements.
  • Supporting wider operational teams to recognise, analyse and mitigate risks.
  • Developing new, innovative solutions to commercial challenges.
  • Estimating and implementing effective cost and value control measures.
  • Collaborating with procurement to structure supply‑chain contracts suitably.
  • Developing new business opportunities.
  • Ensuring compliance with HSEQ and statutory regulations.
  • Providing timely quantitative and qualitative management reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing multiple customer and subcontractor contracts, negotiations, and stakeholder relations.
  • Experience with projects/operations and commercial contracts, preferably in energy and water sectors.
  • Experience working for a main contractor.
  • Good business acumen and knowledge of various contract forms.
  • Relevant degree or suitable experience in commercial/contract management, quantity surveying or engineering.
