Overview

Ever looked at a grocery account and thought there’s untapped potential? This Commercial Manager role offers the opportunity to unlock that potential for a growing brand in the chilled foods market.

The role is a proactive, commercially confident sales position focused on major UK grocery retail accounts with 2 to 3 years’ experience. It’s a fast-paced environment where every day counts and every decision lands quickly.

Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of one or more key grocery retail accounts and manage the commercial relationship end-to-end, including full P&L responsibility, joint business planning, promotional activity, forecasting, and nurturing long-term partnerships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers and their shoppers; use insights to shape winning commercial plans and influence brand strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product development, marketing, supply chain, and operations to keep initiatives aligned and moving forward.
  • Analyze data, maintain a strong commercial instinct, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • 2 to 3 years’ experience managing major UK grocery retail accounts.
  • Proven ability to grow a brand in a fast-moving category; strong relationship builder who can influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Comfort with numbers and data; confident with forecasting and making quick, informed decisions.
  • Hybrid role requiring ~3 days per week on site at the production facility.
