Overview

Are you a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in managing contracts and commercial performance? Do you thrive in a client-facing role where accuracy, strategy, and negotiation make a real difference? Ready to bring your expertise to a specialist subcontractor delivering complex projects nationwide?

We're seeking a motivated QS/SQS to join a forward-thinking specialist subcontractor, taking ownership of commercial delivery across a range of technically advanced schemes. This role combines traditional quantity surveying with contract management, offering variety and responsibility in equal measure.

Responsibilities
  • Managing costs from tender through to final account
  • Preparing valuations, variations, and commercial reports
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts
  • Monitoring budgets, profitability, and project governance
  • Supporting bids and tenders with commercial input
  • Building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and project teams
Qualifications
  • Proven QS/SQS experience within construction, civil engineering, or specialist subcontracting
  • Strong knowledge of contracts (NEC experience desirable)
  • Excellent commercial acumen and analytical ability
