About the Role of Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist

If you have experience in term expiry management and collections in the bridging lending sector, this role is perfect for you. As a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist, you'll be at the heart of both primary and special servicing activities, managing a diverse range of bridging loans. Your day-to-day will involve engaging directly with customers and clients, delivering tailored solutions, and ensuring strict adherence to internal SLAs and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities of the position of Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist

• Engage with customers and clients regularly to understand and address account servicing needs
• Conduct primary servicing activities, including income and expenditure reviews and implement solutions such as payment arrangements, assisted sales or loan workouts
• Monitor agreed strategies and take appropriate action where necessary
• Work closely with solicitors and stakeholders to support legal and insolvency processes
• Prepare and submit referrals for all cases outside of mandate to the Manager
• Produce accurate, high-quality management information and reporting as needed
• Adhere to all internal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative standards
• Support the implementation of approved મૃત case strategies across the portfolio
• Contribute to the culture of Treating Customers Fairly and meet Consumer Duty expectations

Experience and Skills Required for the position of Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist

• Background in collections, arrears handling, or a similar regulated servicing environment within Bridging finance is essential (open to similar product/lending types)
• Experienced in term expiry
• A basic understanding of insolvency and legal servicing processes is desirable
• A team player with a proactive, solutions-focused attitude
