Job description

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join a fast-growth law firm in Plymouth, who are passionate about delivering the very best experience to their clients.The firm prides themselves on their reputation for looking after their clients and want the successful candidate to share this same commitment and passion. In this role you will be working on a wide range of cases including but not limited to commercial property disputes, breach of contract claims, contentious probate, shareholder and director disputes, and housing disputes. The successful candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic, with a sound knowledge of Commercial Litigation law, and will ideally have a minimum of 5 years' PQE.

About the team:

The Commercial Dispute Resolution team works with a wide range of clients in both the private sector and both locally and regionally. The team provides a comprehensive range of services, encompassing:

  • Commercial Disputes
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution
  • Asset & Debt Recovery
  • Professional Negligence
  • Property Disputes

Skills and experience sought:

  • Ideally looking for a minimum of 5 years' PQE withinCommercial Litigation, or to be able to work somewhat unsupervised
  • Well-developed professional and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and legal technical skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and develop relationships across the business
  • Recognises and seizes opportunities for the firm, including repeat business
  • Builds and develops own network of internal and external contacts
