Job summary

A leading communication firm in Greater London is seeking a Finance Analyst to enhance forecasting processes and deliver high-quality financial models. The ideal candidate will have extensive FP&A experience with strong Excel and Power BI skills. You will partner closely with leadership to drive decision-making and optimize financial processes. Job Description
  • Lead the development, refinement, and ownership of the end‑to‑end forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business strategy, commercial targets, and financial objectives.
  • Partner with revenue reporting to deliver high‑quality monthly performance reports, including insightful variance analysis versus forecast and budget.
  • Help build, maintain, and enhance financial and commercial models to support strategic decision‑making, business cases, pricing proposals, and scenario planning.
  • Oversee key Month End activities, ensuring revenue recognition are accurate and supported with high‑quality documentation for Finance.
  • Business partnering with Practice leads to produce accurate forecasts, providing the teams with regular updates on performance and ensuring actuals are correctly booked.
  • Support and deliver commercial projects and initiatives, working closely with the Associate Commercial Director and wider finance leadership.
  • Continuously review and optimise commercial and financial processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
  • Support contract reviews, margin analysis, pricing strategy, and client profitability assessments as needed.
Qualifications
  • Extensive demonstrable experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or similar analytical finance role.
  • Fully qualified or newly qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) preferred.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence decisions and challenge stakeholders constructively.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with confidence presenting to senior leadership.
  • Experience working in a large, complex organisation is advantageous.
  • Highly proactive, inquisitive, and solutions‑focused.
