Overview

LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority based in Middlesbrough for a Contracts and Procurement Lawyer on a temporary basis. The contract will last for 4-6 months.

You will assist the senior lawyer with commercial contract matters, procurement matters, construction contract matters, and you will represent the council’s legal services in meetings, courts, inquiries and appeals.

• Represent the council’s legal services in meetings, courts, inquiries and appeals

Qualifications

• An England and Wales qualified solicitor, barrister, or CILEX lawyer
• Able to demonstrate previous experience within commercial contracts and procurement
• Able to attend the office in the Middlesbrough area as necessary on a hybrid-working basis
• Available on no more than a 4-week notice period

Salary & Requirements

The salary for this role will be £40-£55/hour umbrella, depending on experience.
