Aims Trader Private Limited is seeking a part-time Commercial & Compliance Manager Role (Remote) to join our growing team. We specialise in work and safety gloves (DIY, gardening, industrial) and luxury leather products (wallets, gloves, accessories). We are expanding our operations and are looking for a dynamic individual to lead our sales growth while also overseeing HR and compliance functions within the business

Role Description

This is a dual-function role for a professional with strong business development skills and the ability to take ownership of HR and compliance responsibilities. Reporting directly to the Director, you will play a key role in driving B2B sales while ensuring the company maintains best practice across people management and governance

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales & Business Development
    • Develop and manage B2B client relationships.
    • Identify new opportunities and drive sales growth.
    • Negotiate with clients and report sales progress.
  • HR & Compliance
    • Oversee recruitment and onboarding (contracts, right-to-work checks).
    • Maintain accurate HR records using the existing HR system.
    • Ensure company policies remain compliant with UK employment law.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in B2B sales and business development.
  • At least 1 year experience in HR management, compliance, or related duties.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and right-to-work processes.
  • Ability to work confidently with HR systems and digital record-keeping.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Must be a UK with the right to work (no visa sponsorship available).
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a small but growing business environment.
  • Ability to work remotely with access to a suitable laptop/computer and secure internet connection.
