A leading international insurance business seeks a Commercial Claims Handler for a dynamic role in Birmingham. Our client is a quality international business with a growing presence in Birmingham, providing the opportunity for ambitious insurance claims professionals to work within various commercial lines of insurance including specialist areas such as marine and aviation claims.
Having placed a number of claims professionals with this business over the last 12 months, the feedback has been extremely positive both in terms of working environment and job satisfaction.
Due to Covid, the role is currently home based, however, once things begin to return to normal the intention is to work partly from home and partly from the office in Birmingham City Centre.
Ideal applicants could be any of the following: - 1. Experienced commercial claims handlers from either insurer, broker or adjusting backgrounds, 2. Experienced non-commercial claims handlers with exposure to property or EL / PL claims or alternatively 3. Lesser experienced claims handler looking for a good career opportunity.
In this role you will be working on behalf of significant broker partners, liaising with all parties involved in the claims process, taking ownership of claims from inception through to settlement. Some previous London Market experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
