A prominent NHS healthcare provider seeks a candidate to join their Commercial Analytics Team for a data analysis position. Responsibilities include data collation, support for capacity planning, and generating insightful reports using SQL and Excel. The ideal candidate will possess relevant degrees and have experience in data validation and analysis. The Trust is committed to professional development and values diversity in the workplace.
The post-holder will be involved in the collation, processing, analysis, presentation & interpretation of, contract and financial costing information within the Commercial Analytics Team (consisting of Commissioning and Costing functions).
Key to the role will be handling data from a variety of sources in varying formats, performing complex database queries and spreadsheet analyses to generate both routine & ad-hoc reports to support the business, capacity planning and information needs of the Trust.
Please note if you are shortlisted for the post, there will be an on-site assessment held on the 28th and 29th October. Successful candidates at this assessment will then proceed to be interviewed on 4th and 5th November.
Please be advised that a trainee candidate will be considered if a successful band 5 candidate is not appointed. If appointed as a trainee you will be paid at 75% of Band 5 salary (Annex 21) until in competencies are achieved. This would be expected to take 12 months.
