Commercial Analyst

  • Annual Salary: £31,000 (depending on experience) + Discretionary Bonus

Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Analyst, where you'll play a pivotal role in strategic pricing and supporting our European Trade operations. This position is ideal for someone with a keen commercial mind, ready to drive revenue and enhance our pricing strategies across European markets.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Champion the Trade ethos across assigned European regions to maximise revenue and contribution.
  • Conduct proactive commercial analysis and support tactical decision-making.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to pricing enquiries, ensuring accurate data capture in IRIS modules.
  • Collaborate with EU regional sales teams to review and adjust guideline rates.
  • Build strong working relationships with regional colleagues to align on pricing policies and commercial strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Shipping experience to qualify for the top end of the salary banding
  • Strong analytical and commercial decision-making skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities.
  • Confident working independently and as part of a close-knit team.
  • Good knowledge of European geography.
  • Experience with data management systemsand Excel is desirable.
