Job summary

A leading traffic management company based in Bristol is seeking a Commercial Administrator. In this role, you will validate client billing and verify subcontractor payment applications. You'll work to reduce client queries on invoicing while supporting cash collection and producing weekly reports. The ideal candidate should have prior administration experience and a UK driving licence. A competitive salary package is offered, reflecting your experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous Administration experience is required.
  • Knowledge of Commercial/Finance is beneficial but not essential.
  • UK driving licence is essential.

Commercial Administrator

Compensation: £26,000 - £27,000 / year

Description

As a Commercial Administrator you will strive to add value to the business through day-to-day Commercial Governance checks and processes.

The role will predominately see you validating the weekly client billing and verifying Subcontractor Applications for Payment as well as providing general support to the wider team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify missing or incorrect reported revenue in the weekly data.
  • Ensure rates are being applied correctly to our clients and to us from our Subcontractors
  • Reduce client queries on their invoicing through the checks and validation process.
  • Subcontract Management – assessment and approval of applications and preparation of payment certificate
  • Support and active involvement in cash collection to achieve monthly cash forecasts on key accounts
  • Produce weekly reports and manage internal records.
  • Be willing to learn and assist the Commercial Team with day-to-day operations.
  • Work with and build effective relationships with colleagues and clients as appropriate.
  • Maximise the efficiency of reporting techniques/systems.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Previous Administration experience
