Overview

Publicis Commerce, part of the global Publicis Groupe, is seeking a talented Commerce Strategy Associate Director to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker passionate about eCommerce, retail media, and digital transformation.

You'll be working on two clients, one is a leading consumer electronics brand and the other is a global consumer self-care company.

As a Commerce Strategy Associate Director, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering strategic direction and innovation across a select group of key client accounts. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to drive digital shelf optimisation, improve retail media performance, and identify new growth opportunities across platforms like Amazon, Criteo, and Epsilon.

Responsibilities

You'll also have the opportunity to influence the development of new commerce solutions, contribute to thought leadership content, and upskill clients and colleagues alike. Leadership and mentorship are key in this role - you'll help shape team culture and talent development within a highly collaborative and innovative environment.

Shape commerce strategy-Design and deliver innovative eRetail and retail media strategies (Amazon, Criteo, Epsilon, etc.) that directly support client business objectives and unlock new growth opportunities.

Drive client growth- Build strategic annual roadmaps, stay ahead of retail media and commerce trends, and proactively identify solutions that help clients win in a competitive marketplace.

Lead flawless delivery- Oversee multiple projects from scope to execution, ensuring deliverables are on time and high-quality, while removing blockers and providing creative solutions.

Inspire and showcase impact- Create compelling case studies, award entries, and thought-leadership content, while supporting senior leadership with business reviews and new business pitches.

Foster collaboration and talent - Mentor junior team members, champion knowledge sharing across teams, and drive a culture of innovation, curiosity, and continuous learning.

Qualifications
  • Proven eCommerce expertise across retail media, digital shelf/content, data & analytics, shopper marketing, and retailer relationships.
  • Client-facing experience, with the ability to engage sales, marketing, and commerce teams while navigating their distinct challenges.
  • Strategic and innovative mindset, able to design impactful campaigns, identify automation opportunities, and drive measurable results against client KPIs.
  • Strong project management skills, confident in handling multiple priorities simultaneously while delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Entrepreneurial and adaptable approach, combining curiosity, resilience, and excellent communication to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
