A local council in Scotland is seeking a part-time janitorial candidate to join their team. The role involves maintaining safe and tidy grounds, monitoring contractor activities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Working hours are 16–21 hours per week across a 7-shift pattern, primarily during evenings and weekends. Location: Various locations throughout South Lanarkshire.
Hours: 16–21 hours per week on a term time basis.
Work pattern: 5 days over a 7‑shift pattern – Monday to Friday 6:00pm–9:30pm, Saturday and Sunday 8:00am–4:00pm.
Hourly rate: £13.64–£13.79 per hour.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of all documentation relating to the janitorial and cleaning function within the premises.
