Aspire People are looking for a motivated and supportive College Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive further education setting in the B12 area. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about helping young adults succeed in their studies and future careers.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting students aged 16+ within lessons and study sessions
  • Providing 1:1 and small‑group academic or pastoral support
  • Helping students with coursework, organisation and confidence
  • Promoting positive behaviour and independence
  • Working closely with lecturers, pastoral staff and SEN teams
Qualifications
  • Experience supporting young people or students in education
  • Patient, approachable and able to build positive relationships
  • Can offer encouragement and motivation to learners
  • Reliable, proactive and able to work as part of a team
  • Experience with SEND or SEM‑H support is beneficial but not essential
