Overview

Coil Shop Supervisor. Salary: Basic £41,127 plus Benefits. Location: Greenford, Greater London.

A large industrial service provider is currently recruiting for a Coil Shop Supervisor to control their workshop in the Greenford, Greater London area. The Coil Shop Supervisor will be responsible for standing in for the engineering manager when absent, responsible for efficient control and progress of individual jobs, motivating and developing the team as well as ensure health & safety standards are kept to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Stand in for the engineering manager when absent.
• Ensure efficient control and progress of individual jobs in the workshop.
• Motivate and develop the team to achieve high performance.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance.
• Support stores and inventory knowledge as part of workshop operations.

Requirements

• Workshop experience, ideally in winding and re-winding coils (both AC and DC).
• Supervisory or workshop management experience.
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety; ideally holding IOSH.
• Positive attitude with ability to motivate individuals and foster teamwork.
• Knowledge of stores.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
