Job summary

A growing catering equipment manufacturer in the UK is seeking workshop staff for the assembly and fabrication of bespoke catering trailers. Responsibilities include kitchen fitting, lining, and basic electrics. Candidates should be confident using hand tools. Training will be provided, and applicants must be 18 or older. Working hours are Monday to Friday with competitive pay based on experience and a generous holiday package.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble catering trailer boxes.
  • Fit kitchens, ceilings, walls, and floors.
  • Install equipment and perform basic electrics and plumbing.

About the Role

Our expanding business is in need of new members of staff to join our workshop team here at A & R Willis Catering Trailers with the construction and fabrication of our bespoke catering trailers and catering conversions.

Working Hours & Pay

40 hrs per week. Hourly rate dependent on experience – please enquire. Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 7am to 4pm.

28 days paid holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).

Responsibilities
  • Assembly of catering trailer boxes
  • Lining ceilings, walls and flooring
  • Kitchen fitting
  • Basic electrics
  • Basic plumbing
  • Measuring, folding, and cutting a variety of materials
  • Equipment installation

This role will involve drilling, cutting, riveting, bolting and screwing parts using hand tools, basic cutting machinery and air tools. There are various job roles within each individual build and conversion, and you will be expected to work to a plan to meet production times as part of a team and/or individually.

Qualifications

Experience in coach building, kitchen fitting, or a general flair for DIY and confidence using a variety of hand tools would be helpful but is not essential. Full training in every area will be given on the job.

Eligibility

Due to insurance policies we are only able to employ individuals 18+ at this current time.
