Overview

Job Title CNC Turner / Production Engineer

Location: Coventry

Salary £38,000 - £40,000

Hours: Days based; Monday - Thursday 7.30 - 4.30pm; Friday - 7.30 - 12.30pm; Overtime x1.5 in week and Saturdays x2 Sunday

The client

Tier 1 component supplier, specialising in the machining and assembly of products for the power generation and off-highway industries. The company has proudly delivered solutions to a broad range of customers around the world.

Housed in a new facility that offers state-of-the-art technology you will be joining a highly competent engineering team, producing small to large components to a high level of complexity and variety.

Who can do it?
  • Apprentice trained time served CNC Machinist
  • Fully able to read drawings and customer standards.
  • Able to programme and set CNC Lathes with live tooling at the machine.
  • Knowledge of Mazak/Mazatrol essential
  • Involvement with shopfloor process issues and process improvement
  • Ordering of new tools for NPI projects.
  • Liaise with customers.
