Job summary

A precision engineering firm based in Manchester is seeking an experienced CNC Turner. You will program and operate Mazak CNC lathes to manufacture precision aerospace components. Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol controls
• Manufacture complex precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
• Interpret technical and engineering drawings accurately
• Adhere to AS9100 aerospace quality standards
• Carry out in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams for continuous improvement

About You

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner, ideally in aerospace or precision engineering
• Confident with Mazak machines and Mazatrol programming
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (e.g. AS9100)
• Detail-oriented, with a proactive and quality-focused mindset
