We're currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join our Clients growing team in Hull. Responsibilities
  • Setup & Programming
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and attachments
  • Set up CNC lathes and write/modify programs as needed
  • Turning Operations
  • Operate CNC lathes to perform precision turning
  • Adjust cutting parameters, speed, and tool settings
  • Monitor machine performance and correct issues promptly
  • Quality Control
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with engineering specifications
  • Maintain high-quality standards across all operations
  • Machine Maintenance
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance
  • Ensure proper lubrication, cleanliness, and tool integrity
  • Health & Safety
  • Comply with all safety procedures
  • Wear correct PPE and report hazards promptly
What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
  • Time-served Mechanical Engineering or CNC-specific apprenticeship
  • Proven experience operating CNC turning machines
  • Solid understanding of CNC programming and machining software
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Problem-solving mindset and a proactive attitude
