CNC Maintenance Technician

Up to 50,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in the Stockport area for a CNC Maintenance Technician. This is a permanent job, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and paying upto 50,000 per annum.

Responsibilities
  • Servicing CNC and creating a preventative maintenance plan.
  • Carry out all reactive repairs on machine breakdowns.
  • Liaise with external suppliers to improve lead times and costs.
  • Actively promote a safe working environment.
  • To support training and development needs of individuals.
  • Ensure all repairs are carried out with minimal disruption to production plans.
  • Suggest and support the implementation of RCI initiatives.
  • Manage all relevant documentation, whilst ensuring compliance with the most up to date legislation's and regulations.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge on how CNC machines operate with the ability to fault find and carry out all repairs.
  • Time served or apprentice trained mechanical / maintenance engineer: electrical knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Experienced in machine tool servicing, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Good familiarity and knowledge of multi-axis, metal cutting machinery.
  • Strong communication skills.
