Pertemps Wolverhampton are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced CNC Lathe Setter & Operator. This is a temp‑to‑perm opportunity offering long‑term stability for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components
• Working confidently from detailed engineering drawings
• Using micrometers, gauges, verniers, and other measuring tools
• Ensuring components meet tight tolerances and quality standards
• Making minor program adjustments when required
• Performing in‑process inspections and completing documentation
• Maintaining machines, tooling, and a clean working environment

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience as a CNC Lathe Setter/Operator
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Confident using precision measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good understanding of tooling, speeds, and feeds
