An experienced CNC Fanuc Turner (Nights) based in Blackburn, Lancashire.

Key Details

• Job Title: CNC Fanuc Turner (Nights)
• Location: Blackburn, Lancs (North West, UK)
• Company: An established, multi-award-winning engineering, fabrication, and machining company
• Salary: Excellent hourly rate up to £20 p/h plus shift allowance, with a £2,000 signing-on bonus and profit share bonus
• Hours: 35 hours per week, 20:45 (8:45 PM) to 06:00 (6:00 AM), Monday to Thursday
• Contract Type: Permanent

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Program, Set, and Operate CNC Lathes using Fanuc controls, specifically those with B axis, Y axis, and Sub spindles.
• Work within a medium to high batch machining cell environment.
• Utilize excellent tooling knowledge and cutting strategies suitable for high-volume production.
• Work with high tolerances (experience in the automotive sector is a plus) and various materials, including exotic grade alloys.
• Interpret detailed engineering drawings accurately to deliver conforming parts.
• Maintain the highest standards of H&S (Health and Safety) and Quality.
