Overview

Have you previously inspected parts using a CMM? (Both operating of a CMM and programming of a CMM considered) Do you have experience dimensionally checking machined/fabricated components with handheld measuring tools such as Verniers, Calipers etc? If so, then please read on.

Job Title: CMM Inspector

Environment: Manufacturing

Location: Coleshill

Shift and Pay Options available:

Option 1:

Monday to Friday 3 shift - 2.00pm to 10.00pm, 6.00am-2.00pm and 10.00pm to 6.00am - Rotating.

49,455 + Overtime = Earnings of 52,000 and upwards achievable

Option 2:

Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:15 and Fridays 07:30-15:00.

40,872 + overtime = earnings of 46,000 and upwards achievable

Holidays/Benefits: 33 days holiday, pension scheme, life insurance, product discounts.

Responsibilities

With manufacturing facilities located across the globe we now require an additional CMM Inspector to join the team. The CMM Inspector will be tasked to perform measurements using CMM machinery, along with hand held measurements using verniers, callipers, slips etc.

The CMM Inspector will be responsible for:

  • Perform measurements using CMM machinery.
  • Perform hand held measurements using verniers, callipers, slips etc.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate / CMM Inspector may have some of the following experiences, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Previous experience inspecting parts dimensionally with CMM machinery and hand held tools associated within a quality inspection environment.
  • Any CMM programming skills would be beneficial.
  • Experience dimensionally checking machined/fabricated components with hand held measuring tools such as Verniers, Calipers etc.

Commutable from: Solihull, Coleshill, Coventry, Tamworth, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
