Job summary

A motorsport industry company is looking for a CMM Inspector to operate machinery and conduct inspections using both handheld and advanced techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience with CMM and PC-DMIS, and a background in precision engineering is preferred. This full-time position is based in Northampton, with an ASAP start date.

Responsibilities

• Conduct First-Off inspection of manufactured components.
• Set and operate CMM machinery using PCDMIS software.
• Use relevant documents to determine inspection tools and techniques.
• Raise and process Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).

Are you a CMM Inspector? Have you set/operated a CMM machine with PC-DMIS controls? Proficient using hand held quality inspection equipment? If so, a permanent opportunity has arisen to join a growing and exciting business based in the motorsport sector

8-5 Monday to Thursday / 8-4 Friday

Responsibilities

• First-Off inspection of manufactured components using both handheld and CMM techniques
• Setting and operating CMM machinery using PCDMIS software
• Using relevant documents to establish correct inspection tools and techniques to confirm product verification. This could include using Catia, PCDMIS, CMM Programming, Romer Arm and manual techniques
• Raise and process NCRs

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CMM machinery with PCDMIS controls
• Confident using other inspection techniques (Manual, Romer Arm)
• Previous precision engineering experience
