The Opportunity

Hatched Talent are supporting a growing IT services provider in South Wales that’s looking for a skilled Cloud Technician (2nd Line) to strengthen their Microsoft support team.

This role is ideal for someone who loves getting hands‑on with Microsoft 365 and Azure, thrives on solving complex technical issues, and wants a customer‑facing role where their work genuinely makes a difference.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Deliver and support Microsoft Cloud solutions for a range of clients (Microsoft 365 & Azure).
  • Act as the escalation point for 1st line issues — diagnosing, resolving, and communicating clearly with users.
  • Configure Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Defender, and related products.
  • Support post‑implementation applications (training provided).
  • Stay sharp by testing and evaluating new tools and releases.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
  • 3+ years’ experience delivering or supporting Microsoft Cloud environments.
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.
  • Confident communicator who takes ownership and sees tasks through.
  • Full UK driving licence (travel to client sites required).
Desirable
  • Microsoft certifications (MCP / MCSA / MCSE).
  • Experience with Intune, Defender, PowerShell, or VoIP.
The Offer

💰 Salary between £28,000–£38,000 (DOE)
🕓 37.5 hours per week
📍 Based in South Wales, with some travel to customer sites
