A technology consultancy in London is seeking a Cloud Architect for a 6-month contract. This role involves managing project scope, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely delivery of technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the AWS technology stack and experience with event-driven systems. This position is hybrid with two days onsite each week and offers a competitive daily rate.

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of AWS technical stack: Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, API Gateway.
  • Experience with event-driven systems using frameworks like ActiveMQ, Kafka, AWS Kinesis.
  • Experience with AWS data pipelines, Glue, S3, and Glacier storage.

Cloud Architect | Contract | 6 Months+ | London | Hybrid (2 days onsite) | £500 Inside IR35

Role Description

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for providing advanced technical support. You will be responsible for the delivery of the development, project leadership, quality, and timely delivery of the project. Manage scope of projects from inception to closure. Define, develop, and manage implementation schedules and project budgets. Identify key business objectives and provide solution recommendations while performing business proves and management consulting analysis. Coordinate resources, prepare project teams for kick-off and ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks. Ensure project team are delivering to configuration, development, and methodology standards. Develop the release strategy and implement. Ensure delivery processes are efficient and cost effective. Have a deep understanding of AWS technology stack to drive end to end architecture and engineer the solutions with the development team keeping delivery timelines in mind.
