A health organization in the Tees Valley is looking for a Band 5 Clinical Trial Coordinator/Research Nurse to manage participant recruitment and follow-up of clinical trials. This role involves providing compassionate services to patients, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team, and performing clinical assessments. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and preferably experience in clinical research. Leadership training is provided, promoting personal and professional development.
An exciting opportunity is available to join the R&D Cancer Team at South Tees NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 5 Clinical Trial Coordinator/Research Nurse.
This post will work within the team managing the set-up, participant recruitment and follow-up of clinical trials.
The post is based at James Cook University Hospital but may involve working at other sites within the Tees Valley Research Alliance.
The job purpose includes making a direct contribution to expanding the research portfolio at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post-holder will learn to manage and co-ordinate concurrent research studies with support from senior research colleagues.
