Job description
Overview

Clinical Team Manager Band 7 – North Locality Adult Community Mental Health, Rotherham. We are seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated professional to the role of Clinical Team Manager who will be responsible for the operational management of the team with clinical oversight over the service. The post holder will ensure that all staff deliver the highest standard of evidence based practice to service users/carers and that the service meets local and national activity and quality targets. The service provides community assessment and support to adults with a mental health problem within the Rotherham area.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the service manager to meet the aims and objectives of the service, including deputising and delegated responsibilities.
  • Support the day-to-day management of the team within resources available and agreed governance frameworks.
  • Review staffing levels and skill mix as necessary.
  • Lead, mentor and support staff on a daily basis.
  • Provide management and clinical supervision to staff under your line management.
  • Work within the infection control agenda to improve standards.
  • Improve environments for patients and provide clinical oversight of the service.
  • Work with patients and their carer/relative to address concerns by building closer relationships.
  • Promote partnership working with patients, carers and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a flexible approach evolving around the needs of service users, their families and significant others. Ensure the team meets the standards expected and delivers a high quality of care.
