Hear from some of our current staff members who have climbed the career ladder in care:Jo Watson, Senior Complex Care Case Officer:"After working in infection control and rehab settings, I joined Amore as a Support Worker to provide 1-1 care for a gentleman with complex care needs, including autism and learning disabilities. It was a bit daunting at first, but the feedback you get and the support you receive from your co-workers and managers really helps you settle down. After a while, an opportunity arose where I was asked if I wanted to be a Senior Complex Care Case Officer I threw my name into the ring and here I am! It's very different from 1-1 care, since I'm surrounded by people. We have so many departments within the building, but it's not compartmentalised. We're all together and one big family!"
