Clinical Secretary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Secretary position within Older People Care Unit. The position is based within our Younger Onset Dementia Service.

This post is for an experienced professional secretary who has a flexible approach to work and also has the ability to prioritise and work on their own initiative.

Job responsibilities
  • The main duties will be to provide an efficient and comprehensive reception, secretarial and administrative support to the medical and clinical team within the Younger Onset Dementia Service between the core hours of 8am to 5pm.
  • Producing high quality reports with agreed deadlines.
  • Diary management, message taking.
  • Facilitating meeting/investigations/disciplinaries when required.
  • There will be an expectation to work flexibly to ensure office cover.
  • Ensure patient referrals are processed timely.
