Location: The Harborne Hospital, Birmingham
Salary: Competitive + Benefits

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday–Friday

About the Role

The Harborne Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist – Urology to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a key role supporting both surgical and oncology pathways for urology patients, ensuring seamless, compassionate care across the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support consultant-led clinics and the oncology day unit
  • Provide post-operative advice and ongoing care
  • Deliver nurse-led wound and catheter clinics
  • Train patients in self-catheterisation techniques
  • Collaborate with ward staff and the wider CNS team to deliver holistic care
  • Contribute to the development and coordination of a holistic therapies service
What We’re Looking For
  • Essential: Experience in urology surgical care
  • Desirable: Oncology nursing experience
  • Familiarity with bladder scanners and flow rate monitoring
