Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of complex clinical negligence claims from inception to completion, ensuring cases are handled efficiently and to a high standard.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including court processes, drafting legal documents, preparing evidence, and conducting negotiations.
• Provide clear and comprehensive legal advice to clients on all aspects of their clinical negligence claims, ensuring the highest levels of client care.
• Maintain and develop a strong understanding of statutory legislation, case law, and civil procedure rules.
• Contribute to the business development efforts of the firm by building and maintaining relationships with clients, referrers, and other external parties.
• Provide training and supervision to junior team members, assisting with their development and enhancing team performance.
• Utilise Proclaim case management software to manage and progress cases efficiently.
