JOB SUMMARY

The incumbent shall ensure the clinical effectiveness of the organization by providing an efficient support in clinical quality, evaluating clinical incidents and incident reporting and quality assurance.

Key Accountabilities & Duties
  • Support clinical quality improvement initiatives through the collection, compilation and aggregation of data, reporting trends and outcomes, and participation in improvement teams.
  • Collect accurate clinical data for defined clinical indicators, perform data analysis, summarize, and report to various improvement teams, committees or Medical Staff departments.
  • Serve as a resource for PHCC data on clinical quality, quality assurance and clinical incidents.
  • Use verbal and written communication skills to establish and maintain effective relationships, facilitate multi-disciplinary team.
  • Apply knowledge / expertise in clinical standards and hospital processes to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Demonstrate proactive approach to patient safety by thinking what might go wrong in all your undertakings and take necessary measures to prevent them from happening.
  • Identify and report potential or actual patient safety concerns, errors and / or near misses in timely manner.
  • Partner with line manager to understand risks in your area of work, develop a plan on how to mitigate those risks, and develop shared accountability for implementing and evaluating the plan.
  • Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard any sensitive information.
  • The incumbent will undertake any such related duties or responsibilities as directed.
