Overview

Are you passionate about improving patient safety and driving best clinical practice? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Governance Team, providing essential support to clinical teams across the organisation.

As a member of the Clinical Governance Administration Support team, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality care by supporting governance processes, managing sensitive correspondence, and ensuring that all documentation is handled with discretion and professionalism. You will be part of a proactive, forward-thinking team that works collaboratively to uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Clinical Governance Team, ensuring discretion and confidentiality at all times.
  • Operate efficiently and effectively, delivering proactive administrative support and coordinating day-to-day secretarial arrangements for the Clinical Governance Lead/Nurse.
  • Act as a first point of contact for the Clinical Governance Team; screen incoming calls from Health Board staff, members of the public, and external departments or agencies; respond in a tactful and courteous manner; prioritise issues; make decisions concerning appropriate information disclosure; and adhere to timescales.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Governance Team to ensure incoming calls are correctly triaged and directed to provide a high-quality response.
Requirements
  • Desirable: ability to speak Welsh; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Experience in administrative support within a healthcare or governance environment is advantageous.
