Applications are invited for a clinical fellow in Neurodevelopment Paediatrics at the UK's first Academic Health Science Centre.
The post is suitable for a candidate seeking training in community paediatrics to complete their higher specialist training or a candidate who has completed training but needs experience in service development while waiting for a consultant paediatric post.
It may also be possible to arrange a rotation to a neurology/neurodisability fellow post should the candidate wish to pursue a career in paediatric neurology or neurodisability.
The Paediatric Department serves a diverse local population, with 100 languages spoken locally and covering a broad socio-economic range. The child development and neurodisability service works very closely with the general paediatric department and the neurology department.
The post holder will join five dynamic consultants with subspecialty interests in neurodisability, autistic spectrum disorder and behavioural paediatrics. Services are also supported by innovative multi‑agency teams.
The Imperial Paediatric department is a strong academic department and the unit provides tertiary referral services for a number of paediatric subspecialties.
