The ideal candidate must demonstrate a positive attitude, teamwork, and a commitment to learning.
Applications are invited for a 12-month Fellowship in the Gynaecology Outpatient Diagnostic and Treatment Unit, within the Elizabeth Garret Anderson Hospital of University College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity within the nationally and internationally recognised tertiary referral centre and research unit for scan‑based gynaecology.
This post is available from April 2026.

The successful candidate would join a stimulating team of clinical and research fellows in a world‑renowned centre of excellence with direct consultant training in ultrasound and an environment of academic and clinical excellence.
The successful candidate will be based in the Gynaecology Diagnostic and Outpatient Treatment Unit (Clinic 3) where they will see and assess patients attending a number of different clinics including booked and walk‑in early pregnancy patients, acute gynaecology patients, suspected gynaecological cancer patients, general gynaecology patients and endometriosis patients requiring ultrasound assessment. They will need to demonstrate diligence, kindness, effective teamworking and a willingness to learn.
They will have the opportunity to develop independent skill at surgical management of miscarriage under local anaesthetic (MVA) and outpatient hysteroscopy.
The successful candidate will demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and a ‘can do’, flexible attitude and commitment to the work schedule. They will also demonstrate excellence in working effectively in multidisciplinary team.
