Job description

An accountancy practice based in Wolverhampton has a requirement for a Client Manager (Partner Designate) to join them taking on the hands on preparation, delivery, review and management of accounts, tax and wider all-around service provision to a varied client base and working closely with the firms leadership team as a key addition.

Client Details

An independently owned practice, that has expressed their desire to stay independently owned through hiring future Directors that will buy in to the firm. This business has been operating across the West Midlands for a number of decades and has a workforce of around 20-25 staff.

Description

Initially joining to support the outgoing Director with the handover of responsibility for their portfolio. You will provide accounts, tax and some audit services to a large and varied client portfolio, based across the West Midlands. In time, you will gain overall responsibility for this portfolio, as well as being tasked with continuing the steady growth of the firm through developing junior staff and winning work.

Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA AAT)
• An extensive background working in UK based accounting firms, within a general practice role
• Prior experience growing and managing a portfolio of SME / OMB clients
