Job summary

A global leader in insurance and risk management is seeking a Client Executive in Dundee. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, manage client relationships, and provide risk management support. The ideal candidate has experience in the insurance sector, strong communication and negotiation skills, and is ACII qualified. This full-time position requires an ability to manage multiple client needs and strategic priorities in a dynamic environment.

A Marsh Client Executive leads a multi‑disciplinary client team to deliver all aspects of insurance and risk management support to our clients and prospective clients. The successful candidate will be a team player and work closely with clients to manage their service requirements, insurance needs and insurer relationships. You will build and maintain strong relationships with your clients and Marsh colleagues to consistently deliver first‑class broking and risk‑management support. You will manage projects, help teammates thrive and collaborate with stakeholders across the company.

What we will rely on you to:
  • Act as lead advisory colleague on medium‑sized or moderately complex accounts.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of the client’s business, strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk‑management needs to provide advice accordingly.
  • Utilise substantial risk expertise and knowledge of industry and insurance market to review clients’ exposures and loss experience, developing solutions for moderately complex needs and recommending additional products and services.
  • Present, develop and execute renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with Placement Advisory Leaders and Client Executives.
  • Partner with Placement to receive, negotiate and evaluate quotes from carriers and present the evaluations to clients.
  • Participate in presentations to prospective clients, identify the need for new products and develop or suggest innovative solutions to gain new clients and projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and act as the primary point of contact to service more complex client needs.
  • Coordinate the production of client deliverables, including monitoring delivery and invoicing to ensure the quality of materials delivered.
  • Possess an in‑depth knowledge of changing market conditions to contribute to the firm’s body of knowledge within the product line through active internal communication.

  • Experience in the insurance and risk‑management industry, preferably in a Client Executive / Account Executive role.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
