What we are looking for:
  • Strategic Business Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute sales strategies targeting significant growth in managed assets across institutional and discretionary channels
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain deep, long-term relationships with key clients at all levels of the organisation, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner
  • Sales Execution: Drive sales across multiple opportunity types ensuring alignment with client needs and business objectives
  • Consultative Engagement: Deliver tailored presentations and communications that articulate Invesco's investment philosophy, strategies, and market views
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including distribution, investment, product, and marketing to ensure a cohesive client experience
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on market developments, fund performance, and industry trends to provide relevant insights and thought leadership to clients
  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business activities using Salesforce and other systems to support planning and compliance

W hat you can bring:
  • Proven success in financial sector sales, particularly with UK discretionary fund managers, asset managers, banks, and private banks
  • Deep understanding of the UK mutual fund distribution and discretionary investment channels
  • Strong consultative sales approach with a track record of cross-selling and delivering tailored investment solutions
  • Technical knowledge across all major asset classes, including mutual funds, private markets, ETFs, investment trusts, passive strategies, and liquidity solutions
  • Up-to-date awareness of financial markets, economic trends, regulatory requirements, and competitor initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other CRM or planning tools; openness to adopting new technologies
  • Relevant professional qualification or equivalent
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong numeracy, analytical thinking, and business planning capabilities
  • Self-motivated, organised, and adaptable to changing client and market needs
  • High energy, drive, and commitment to achieving partnership-level client engagement
  • Ability to think innovatively and adapt strategies to evolving market and client dynamics
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required
