A local educational institution in Swindon is seeking a part-time Cleaning Supervisor to manage the cleaning team and ensure a safe environment for learning. The role requires overseeing cleaning provisions according to health and safety regulations, guiding the cleaning staff, and managing locking procedures. The hours are 15 per week, Monday to Friday, at a rate of £13.26 per hour, totaling an actual salary of £9,865 per annum. Flexibility is offered for working hours during holidays.
Abbey Farm Educate Together is a new free school that opened to reception class and pre-school pupils in September 2022, in a brand-new building.
The school will eventually serve 420 pupils, plus pre-school and will act as a community hub for residents of the new Abbey Farm development.
We are part of an Academy Trust that also has schools in Bristol, Bath, Keynsham and Weston-Super-Mare.
We are seeking to employ a cleaning supervisor to join our facilities team to cover the in house cleaning provision.
The successful candidate will undertake overall management of the cleaning provision within the school and provide an efficient and effective cleaning service in accordance with health and safety instructions including COSHH. They will give guidance and clear direction to the cleaning team and be responsible for locking the school and setting the alarm. The hours are 15 per week , Monday to Friday,
3.30pm to
6.30pm . This post is term-time (including inset days ) plus one week in Christmas holidays, one week in Easter Holidays and 2 weeks in Summer Holidays.
The working hours in the holidays can be flexible and can be arranged to suit.
All our cleaning staff are very much part of our staff team at Abbey Farm , making sure the school is a clean and safe environment in which children can learn.Salary is £13.26 per hour.
Actual salary is £9,865 per annum.The closing date is 23rd February at 9am and the interviews will take place shortly afterwards.
