A local authority in Northern Ireland is looking for a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleaning staff and maintain high cleanliness standards across buildings. Responsibilities include planning work schedules, training staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Candidates should have at least two years of cleaning experience and effective communication abilities. This role promotes a safe and clean environment for all.

The following are essential criteria which will initially be measured at the shortlisting stage and which may also be further explored during the interview/selection stage. Demonstrable two years’ experience of cleaning outside the home environment.

Section 2 - Essential Criteria
The following are additional essential criteria which will be measured during the interview/selection stage in line with EA’s Game Changing People Model.
Ability to use own initiative and to work under pressure to meet specific deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate and take instruction in the English language.
Effective organisation and planning skills.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Flexible approach to work, and able to give instruction.

Section 3 - Desirable Criteria
