Job description

External candidates to be eligible to apply for this post must be a Rochdale Resident who lives within the municipal boundaries of the borough of Rochdale.

Salary: £24,413 - £24,796 pro rata. £12.65 per hour.

Hours: 20 hours per week.

About the role

Facilities Management are looking to appoint a robust and energetic cleaner to work in this very busy school.

Your working patterns will be based on a split shift, 6.30am-8.30am and 3pm-5pm. You will be expected to work closely with the Caretaker, good communication skills are essential.

The successful candidate will possess a keen eye to detail and will be responsible for delivering a high standard of cleaning in designated areas of the school.

Responsibilities

Duties will include:

• Cleaning toilets
• Emptying bins
• Mopping floors
• Vacuuming carpets
• Wiping down tables and ledges

An understanding of Health and Safety will be required.

Experience is essential, however candidates with skills appropriate and a willing attitude are invited to apply.

Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced DBS including a barring list check child workforce.
