Job description

Are you an experienced Class 2 HIAB driver looking for a change? Would you like to work for a market leading company with fantastic benefits? If so, we have a great opportunity for you!

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2 HIAB driver to join our home delivery team in Stevenage (SG1 1XP) for our customer, Wickes.

You will be contracted to work 39 hours per week, with the start time window of 04:00 and 06:00 working Monday to Friday with Saturday during the 10 week peak period. You will be responsible for delivering flat packed products to customer premises.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
  • Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers' products.
  • Providing excellent face-to-face customer service to customers
  • Average drops per day between 3 - 5
  • Delivery of bulk items to customer homes using a class 2 HIAB vehicle from Wickes stores
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement
  • A valid HIAB/ALLMI licence is advantageous
  • A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 current penalty points
  • Successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
