Job description

Position: Class 2 HGV (Cat C) Driver

Location: Plymouth

Looking for some varied work? Need flexibility? We currently have several excellent opportunities for Class 2 (Cat C) truck drivers within the Plymouth / Saltash area. We have clients seeking delivery drivers for immediate start with part-time, temporary, and flexible options. If this sounds like you, keep reading for more details!

9. Ambient & chilled goods

11. Furniture deliveries

Additional information:

1. The hours vary by client, typically starting between 05:30 and 08:00, with shifts lasting until completion.
2. Pay ranges from £15.69 to £19.61 per hour, including weekend work and overtime, via an advanced payroll method inclusive of holiday pay.
3. PAYE - We use internal payroll, avoiding umbrella firms.
4. Weekly pay.
5. Discounted CPC training available.
6. Varied work depending on your preferences and skills: food & drink, metals, refuse collections, building supplies (Hiab required), cage work, tanker & packages (ADR).
7. Part-time and full-time positions with numerous temp-to-perm opportunities throughout the year.

Job requirements:

1. A full and valid Category C (Class 2) license, with an up-to-date CPC and digi cards, no more than 6 points, and no DR, DD, or IN convictions for insurance reasons.
2. Previous lorry driving experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
3. The ability to lift and carry heavy items, along with driving, is preferred due to the physical nature of the work, though not all roles require manual handling.

Please note that the advertised pay is based on an advanced payroll method, including holiday pay at 12.07%. We can accommodate a standard payroll method if preferred.
