Job description

LGV Class 1 Bitumen Driver - Night Driver

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Working Hours and Shift Pattern: Guaranteed 40 hours per week with potential for overtime. The work involves working Monday to Friday PM shifts, however some weekend working will be required. Shift start times will be changeable between 3pm and 7pm, and you will be required to sleep out in your cab as a part of the role.

Pay: Hourly Rate £25.00 with a £2.00 supplement per hour for hours worked between 9pm and 4am and weekend overtime paid at £42.11 per hour for shifts which begin between 4:00 pm Friday and 6:00 pm Sunday.

Guaranteed Annual Salary: £51,996.05. You are eligible to receive a London Allowance of £1,000 per annum, which is paid monthly in 12 equal instalments. In January of each year, you may be eligible to receive an Attendance Bonus of £1,000.

Selection Criteria

• Hold a current LGV C+E licence. We are looking for actual driving experience, and not only how long you have held the licence.
• Hold an up to date and valid Driver Qualification Card.
• Have no more than 3 penalty points on your licence, none of which are related to drink/drug driving offences or dangerous driving.
