Job summary

A leading insurance provider in London is seeking a Claims Handler to manage SME and Large Account claims. This role requires collaboration and strong analytical skills. The ideal candidate will possess a University degree (preferably in Law) and 2-3 years of claims handling experience. Opportunity for hybrid working is available with an expectation of 3 days in the office.

Qualifications

  • IT literate.
  • Experience with Iris/Guidewire Claim Centre preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Handling a variety of SME and Large Account D&O/FI/TRIP claims from cradle to grave.
  • Review, analyse and interpret policy wordings.
  • Attend market meetings to discuss coverage issues, strategy and reserves.
  • Form and maintain close relationships with TPAs, MGAs and brokers.
  • Carry out audits on TPAs and MGAs.
  • Complete monthly reviews and spreadsheets for MI purposes.

Role Summary and Purpose

To handle a variety of SME and Large Account D&O/FI/TRIP claims in both a lead and follow capacity in a busy Financial Lines claims team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Handling a variety of SME and Large Account D&O/FI/TRIP claims in both a lead and follow capacity from cradle to grave;
  • Review, analyse and interpret policy wordings;
  • Attend market meetings to discuss coverage issues, strategy and reserves;
  • Form and maintain close relationships with TPAs, MGAs and brokers;
  • Carry out audits on TPAs and MGAs;
  • Complete monthly reviews and spreadsheets for MI purposes;
